Created originally by Bernhard "Lefty" Kreh, the Deceiver is the starting point for so many patterns in use today. While even Lefty says there is no one right way to tie a Deceiver, this is the model he had originally conceived. It's large size holds the shape and silhouette well and the narrow profile is very aerodynamic making for longer casts.
